“What do you do?”

In different capacities – as consultant, lawyer, editor, minister, chaplain, teacher, researcher and trainer – I have sought to do the same things for twenty years:

• - to INTEGRATE difference: to trace patterns of meaning and connections in the world.
• - to CREATE “good places to stand”, academically, spritually and personally. I look always for a point of access that is both engaged and liminal.
• - to ENCOURAGE others and learn from them as we think “old thoughts in new ways”.
• - to APPLY knowledge creatively in new contexts.



The situations and environments have changed, and will change, as new opportunities and challenges open up. Welcome to this website which explains my current work and involvements.
